I will give some indication of what will be on our 2 tests, some kind of review sheet, and possibly a few last homework problems from the recent presentations |
CHANGE OF LOCATION-- meet in ROSS 1. I will spend 10 minutes showing you how to publish your webpages. These will be worth 10 points. They can be VERY basic. 2. We will take a 60 minute calculator and misc. test, which will cover some handouts from class.--- open note 3. Show me your notebook (for 20 points) on your way out. |

Notes:
1. E-mail me asap to reserve a date and topic for your student project. Let me know if you want to reserve Ross Aberdeen.
2. Some ideas for student projects that haven't been chosen include: graphing calculators, use of surveying equipment, connecting your graphing calculator to your computer, finances on the calculator...
3. If your topic is similar to someone else's, please consult with me and the other student to avoid overlap.
4. All exams are open-book. I'd suggest organizing your notes throughout the semester.
5. Some possible topics for TBA days: stat JAVA applets, surveying equipment, blackboard, test generators, more with Excel, finances on TI83 and Excel
TBA may include: talk on No Child Left Behind, survey equipment, calculators, test generators,
