We will be meeting once or twice a month in Doucette 205. Contact
one of the advisors or
officers (above) for current dates and times. Join
us for food, fun, videos, presentations,
games (set and backgammon ),
projects, socializing, and problem solving.
In addition to having the
opportunity to join Pi Mu, you can contact Dr. Quinn about joining
the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics or
the Mathematical Association of
America .
You will be able to join at reduced student rates.
The Youngstown State University (Ohio) chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon invites us to provide student speakers for a conference each February. Let me know if you'd like to give a 15 minute presentation. It would look good on a resume! :)
The Allegheny MAA Conference is each April. There are looking for student speakers. Let me know if you'd be willing.
Can you give a talk this semester?: We could use some speakers this year. Sign up to give a talk, and you don't have to pay for pizza all year!
