As I was taking Printmaking I course last semester, I was doing some research at EUP's Baron Forness Library. More accidentally than not, I stumbled upon a beautifully produced book, Contemporary Yugoslav Graphic Art, from 1964.
The oversized book contains over a hundered color plates by 42 contemporary Yugoslav graphic artists. Plates are spread over 144 pages with a general introduction and a short biography of each artist. Entire text is hand set in Frutiger's Serifa giving the pages incredibly subtly tactile feel.

This one goes out for my friend Ajla, who always checks for updates but never finds any and for others who do the same but brag about it. :P. No, seriously, thanks.

Ars Aevi museum of contemporary art in Sarajevo finally has an official website. Some limited informations were previously available at www.geocities.com/arsaevi, which is still online, but this is the first time the presentation is done consistently and in an organized manner.
Initiative for the museum was concieved by Mr. Enver Hadžiomerspahić, Ars Aevi General Director and is being carried out thanks to collaborative international will. Since 1992, when the idea was first introduced, the muesum, now also under patronage of UNESCO, acquired numerous works of art by some of renowned contemporary artists, thus crating a nucleus of the furure collection. The collection of works, among others, includes pieces from: Joseph Kosuth, Joseph Beuys, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Richard Nonas, Jan Dibbets, Daniel Buren, Anish Kapoor, Ilya Kabakov.
Ars Aevi complex is to have multiple buildings across the city, designed by leading international architects. The nucleus building of the museum was designed pro bono by Italian architect Renzo Piano, famous for his work on Pompidou center in Paris, Kansai International Airport Terminal in Osaka and numerous other international projects. The initial building is to have two pedestrian bridges and a exhibition space situated at the location of a former Museum of the Revolution.
The construction works symollicaly started with the bridge crossing the Miljacka river. Ars Aevi, which is a latin expression for “art of the epoch” and a pseudo–anagram of Sarajevo, is by many considered the most important initiative in the cultural domain and is anticipated to become a contemporary art center in Balkan region, as well as center for international dialogue.

Having some spare time on my hands, I have decided to do a bit of CSS experimenting. I’ve come up with the current design which which was laid out in XHTML 1.0 Strict.
ebukva.com is my personal CSS and HTML playground in form of a blog. My inspiration and incentive was definitely an amazing work at CSS Zen Garden.
