Psychology Club
The Psychology Club is comprised of students interested in the general
area of psychology, both majors and non-majors. This group organizes a
program of speakers, field trips and other activities related to psychology.
In addition, they sponsor an annual trip to the Eastern Psychological Association
Convention. The Psychology Club meets once a month. Information on meeting
dates and times, as well as membership information, can be obtained from
the Psychology Club bulletin board which is located on the first floor
of Compton Hall.

Psi Chi
National Honorary Society in Psychology
The Edinboro University Chapter of Psi Chi was established in 1971.
This Honorary Society, which is administered by the American
Psychological Association, recognizes students for outstanding academic
achievements in psychology coursework. Inductions into this society occur
in Fall and Spring of each year. The minimum criteria for consideration
of acceptance into this honorary society is:

Completion of at least 12 semester hours of EUP psychology courses with
at least a 3.4 G.P.A. in this coursework. This coursework should include
Experimental Psychology, but it may be in progress.

An overall gradepoint average of at least 3.3.
When an induction has been announced, students who meet the above minimum
criteria should fill out preliminary applications which may be obtained
in the Department office. Inductions are held in both the Spring and Fall
semesters.
